The Practice
Most chiropractic care ends
at the adjustment.
Ours begins there.
Our Approach
Assessment First
Every visit begins with a full orthopedic and functional movement evaluation. We identify the pattern — not just the pain point.
Hands-On Care
Targeted adjustments combined with deep tissue and fascial release. We address the joints, the muscles, and the connective tissue in a single session.
Movement Integration
Adjustments hold when your body learns to support them. We retrain the movement patterns that caused the problem in the first place.

What Makes Us Different
Movement Integration
Here's the problem with adjustments alone: your body has spent months or years compensating. It has learned to move around the dysfunction instead of through it. When we adjust you, the correction is real — but without retraining the movement pattern that caused the problem, your body defaults back to its old habits.
Movement integration is how we close that loop. After hands-on treatment, we identify the specific patterns your body is compensating with and give you targeted corrections — not generic exercises, but precise neuromuscular retraining that teaches your stabilizers to fire in the right sequence.
This is the difference between feeling better for a day and actually getting better.

The Doctor
Dr. Karen Shiu
Dr. Shiu started in competitive athletics, where she learned firsthand that the body doesn't fail randomly — it fails in patterns. That observation became the foundation of her clinical approach.
She founded Align Studio to practice chiropractic the way she believes it should be done: one patient at a time, with the time and attention to find the actual cause. Every session integrates orthopedic assessment, manual therapy, and movement correction — because treating the body as an integrated system is the only way to create lasting change.
Her practice draws from biomechanics, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, and functional movement assessment to deliver care that goes beyond symptom management.

The Experience
What a Visit Looks Like
Your first visit is 45 minutes. We assess, treat, and build a plan — all in one session. No referral chains. No six-week wait-and-see. Every visit after that picks up where the last one left off, progressing your care based on measurable change.
One doctor. One patient. No double-booking.
